      1) Lac  culture


               Lac is produced by an insect
Tacchardia lacca quite small in size, colonial in habit. It is resin like substance produced by dermal glands of the female insect. Insect feeds on suculent twigs of certain plants like Ber, peeple, palas, kusum, babool etc and secrete pink coloured resin which hardens on coming in contact with air forming lac.

          2) Sericulture :

             Apiculture or bee keeping deals with artificial rearing of honey bees to obtain bee products like honey, wax, pollen, bee, venom and Royal jelly as well as for crop pollination. Bee keeping has been an age-old cottage industry. Honey is a food of high nutritive value and also finds uses in the indigenous systems of medicine. 

              The four species of honey bees commonly found in India are Apis dorsata (rock bee or wild bee), Apis florea (little bee), Apis mellifera (European bee) and Apis indica (Indian bee). For bee keeping, Apis mellifera and Apis indica are the suitable species hence they are known as domensticated species.

Broiler management includes selection of bread, housing, temperature, ventilation, lighting, floor space and broiler feeding. 

                Poultry diseases are viral diseases like Ranikhet, Bronchitis, Avian influenza (bird flu) etc. Few years back bird flu have seriously influenced poultry farming and human infection too.
     
                 Bacterial poultry diseases mainly include pullorum, Cholera, Typhoid, TB, CRD(Chronic Renal Disease), Enteritis etc. The fingal diseases of poultry are Aspergillosis, Favus, and Thrush.
