Antibodies difference in Older and Youngers.

Antibodies also called as immunoglobulin which is larged, Y-shaped protein. Antibodies have main functions such as activation of complement, immune regulation, phagocytosis, Neutralisation of infectivity etc.

A investigation team which is lead by Joelle Pelletier and Jean-Francois, are the professors in Universitie de Montreal's Department of Chemistry. They wanted to search out weather natural disease produce more progressive antibodies being generated. According to Scientists reports, those who take the Pfizer BioNTech or AstraZeneca vaccine has a higher antibody levels than infected individuals.

A biomedical instruments specialist Masson says that- Everybody who had been infected produced a antibodies, but older people manufacture more than adults under 50 years of age. Antibodies were still present in their bloodstream 3 to 4 months after their identification. 32 non-hospitalised Covid-19 positive patients adults were recruited by the Centre Hospitalier de I'Universite Laval 14 to 21 days after being identified through PCR testing. This was in 2020, before the Beta, Delta, and gamma variants appears.

Pelletier, protein chemistry expert  said that- The antibodies produced naturally infected individuals 50 and older needed a maximum degree of protection than adults below 50. By measuring the antibodies ability to stop the interaction of the Delta variant's spike protein with ACE-2 receptor in cells that are how you become infected. They also don't observed the same type of thing with the other variants.

If somebody who had COVID vaccination, the antibodies level in their blood is doubles as compared to unvaccinated people who has been infected by the virus. The antibodies of the vaccinated persons are also good to stop  the Spike-ACE-2 interaction. The samples of individuals younger than 50 whose infection didn't manufacturing antibodies stop spike-ACE-2 interaction. That is, Vaccination increases defense against the Delta variant among person previously caused by the native strain.

Masson and Pelletier believe large research should be conducted to determine the good combination for preparing the many effective level of antibodies response to whole variants of the virus.

This study was done in collaboration with Universite lavel, the Center hospitalier de I'Universite Laval.
