Emotion is the one of the state of the mind called as subjective state. Emotion is a mental state conduct on by chemical alters in our body. It is the biologically process based on psychology. There are many types of the emotions such as Happiness, fear, anger, sadness, surprise, disgust, and trust etc. Emotion is linked to behavioral capacity. In some theories, cognition is an important aspect of emotion. Humans and also animal are emotional beings. Pet animals which are in our house can feel the love on them.
Charles Darwin in 1872 proposed that small insects also express terror, jealousy and love. It is described in book the expressions and Emotions in Man and Animals which is written by Charles Darwin. There are eight basic emotions which is proposed by Plutchik. Our emotions could be expressed through our body language or Microexpressions. Different emotions can felt in different intensity. Each of the emotions in Plutchik's theory have opposite corresponding emotion.
You feel many different types of emotions when you have moving step of neurotransmitters. When our brain receives a any type of good news, it signals the release of two neurotransmitters to the central nervous system. The systems are dopamine and serotonin. When neurotransmitters flood our brain you feel the happiness. And oppositely, a lack of these neurotransmitters can cause a feeling of sadness. While other emotions are create mixing of these neurotransmitters.
Our emotions are also identified by taking some time to reflect on ourself and our experiences. Controlling our different types of emotions is the lifetime learning procedure.There are many steps to identify emotions in our mind. Our might feels our palms sweating. It is possible to understand our emotions signs. Hence try to understand our emotions and what might be the cause behind it.
Our emotions are controlled but it is very long process that means it is hard to control our emotions. Being capable to alter our emotions. There are many external factors which affected on our emotions like weather. Like serotonin and dopamine, adrenaline and oxytocin are main chemicals that play an important role in emotions.
Serotonin is a mood regulator. It is responsible for our feelings of wellbeing, happiness and also the stability of our mood. It helps to regulate many processses in our body. Serotonin is one of the 'feel good' chemical which we need. If we have low levels of serotonin then there are symptoms like - sleeping problem, bad feeling about yourself, and memory's problems. There are many solutions to boost our serotonin levels like exercise, meditation, more exposure to sunlight.
Dopamine is the hormone that feel good. It is play an important role to controlled our mood. Dopamine acts as a brain releases when we do things we love. Dopamine allows to feel pleasure, satisfaction and motivation etc. To boost our dopamine level avoid fat, sugar. Exercise daily, enough sleep, doing activities which makes you feel good. A chemical imbalance of dopamine in our brain is also possible. When this level is low then some mental problems also occurs. When the level of dopamine is high it can lead negative behaviours.
Adrenaline is helps for our body's to fight response. It is helping us stay safe. It is the hormone released when our brain perceives danger, fear, excitement. The symptoms which shows the level of Adrenaline is low are increase heartbeats, feel nervous, sweating, also increase the breathing. Stress and caring can cause our body to release adrenaline. To increase our adrenaline level there are also many solutions like deep breathing, meditation, talk to friends, self care, limiting alcoholic beverages, avoid mobile.
Oxytocin is also called as love hormone. Along with to serotonin and dopamine, Oxytocin completes the trio of feel good chemicals. Low levels of oxytocin, linked with depression. Oxytocin is helps in building relationships and more research which are required. For increasing our oxytocin levels, the solutions are mediating, social bonding, laughing , self caring, reduce stress level etc.
The relationship between brain and emotions is complex. We can boost our emotions naturally and also increase the release of happy hormone.
