Blood clot is a collection of blood in our veins due the changes of blood from liquid to partially solid (like gel). Blood clotting may be good and it is normal. But when blood not changes to it's own state then it is harmful. Blood clot is occurs when damage of the blood vessel called as vein or artery.

Deep Vein Thrombosis is a clot of blood in vein. It is very dangerous. So get medical as soon as possible if you have symptoms of DVT. Usually itvis shown in legs. As per National Blood Clot Alliance, over 200 persons die each day by blood Clot. The person which having blood clot problem, are between the age of 25 or even age of 85 years. DVT happens when a blood clot, it is also called as thrombus forms in one or more of deep veins of the legs. DVT identified with the help of signs which is occurs in our legs.
Deep vein thrombosis can occurs leg pain or swelling but also occurs with no any signs. Clotting of blood in our legs can occurs if we don't have any movement for a longer time (there is any reason for no movement like after you have an accident or you're travelling a long distance.
Symptoms of DVT in legs:
There is swelling and also pain in the leg which is affected by the deep vein thrombosis. It is happens in both legs also. You have throbbing or cramping pain in both legs or in one legs.
2) Warm and red skin surrounding the area which is painful:
There is red or discoloured skin area where a deep vein thrombosis occurs. This colour is due to the inflammation inside the legs. This area may also feel warmer than normal.
3) Swollen veins, painful to touch:
Skin area may become larger than normal, and feel hard and painful to touch.
Deep vein thrombosis is very serious disease. Blood clots in our veins or artery can be break loose and stucks in lungs.

When you noticed above symptoms of Deep vein thrombosis, it is important to call doctor. Early treatment may prevent more serious or complications. But if you develop the signs, then there is risk associated with deep vein thrombosis, so take a urgently medical help for good treatment.
Prevention for DVT:
Smoking is one of the reason for DVT. It increases the risk of getting Deep vein thrombosis.
2) Establish or avoid sitting for a long time:
If you you're on bed rest for a long time try to get movement as soon as possible. Also travelling is the main reason for DVT.3) Manage your weight and do exercise:
Regularity in exercise may lowers the risk of Deep vein thrombosis. Do exercise and Be healthy.
