Science behind Holi 


           All of you that,  Every festival has one of the main scientific reason for celebrating it. So, in this article we will discuss about the science behind Holi.

                                   All of you know about the Holi festival and all of you celebrated Holi in different ways.   Holi

 festival have very great religious importance in India. The 

festival

colors is only the

 Holi that is celebrated on the full moon day of 

Hindu

 month Phalgun that  related to March month as per Gregorian Calendar. As

 per mythology, while on one side this festival celebrates the everlasting love of Radha and Krishna, it also celebrates the victory of Lord Vishnu, with his Narasimha incarnation, over devil king Hiranyakashipu.



               As per scientific proof, during the time at which Holi is celebrated the development of bacteria in the environment or atmosphere is at its peak. The cultural of burning Holika increasing the temperature in the atmosphere and hence lowering the growth or development of bacteria and in a way reducing the production and effects of bacterial infection.


             Colours play an important role in healthy of human body. Lack of a specific colour could produce an not serious and can be treatment when that colour element is varies either through diet or medications. In immediately periods, when persons initiated playing Holi, the colours used by them were prepared from natural sources such as Turmeric, Neem, Palash etc. The playful pouring and throwing of colour powders prepared from these natural sources has a recover impact on the human body. It has the impact of stronger the ions in the body and joins health and beauty to it.

Reason behind Holi



                Let's look at the another  scientific cause that experts have find out is that is during this period in India the season varies from winter towards summer. And hence due to this seasonal change people get tired, experiences indolent and sluggish. Celebration of holi during this period counters this laziness and gives people several causes to come out of their homes and enjoying it. The color splattering, playing Dhol Manjira with parties including Friends and family members not only revives mind and body, it separate the cycle of laziness and creates the particular for a various season.

               Colors are with a important role in Holi. During immediately periods, If Holi was played organic colors were used. That means for example-  for the yellow color our ancestors used turmeric powder and for other colors they used green leaves, dried flowers etc. But using these colors cleaning the body. Using those colors on the body encouraged good skin health and cleared overall kinds of collection placed on the skin. Few of the specific plant based sources for Holi color during those days were Indigo, Henna,  Hibiscus, Marigold, Pomegranate, Sandalwood, Saffron, Bilva leaves, Jacaranda, Amaltas,  Palash etc. 


Problems caused by some common Synthetic colours:

Green –

           It may included Copper sulphate and can Created problems like eye Allergy and Temporary blindness.

Red –

                 It may contain Mercury sulphide, that can occurs to skin cancer, Mental Retardation, Paralysis and Impaired vision.

Purple – 

              It also included Chromium iodide producing to health problems such as Bronchial Asthma and allergies etc.

Silver – 

         It may contain aluminum bromide, which is carcinogenic etc.

Blue 

          It might contain Prussian blue, which can cause contract dermatitis etc.

Black –

          It may contain lead oxide leading to health problems such as Renal failure and learning disability etc.

                  So, only try to enjoy Holi with natural colours. I know it is almost impossible all of a sudden. In the meantime, we can reducing the side effects of synthetic colours.
