Bond with chemistry, it’s a subject with substance:

Subject: Chemistry

Board: State Board, Std XII (HSC)

Theory marks: 70

Duration: 3.5 hours

LAST MINUTE REVISION TIPS

# Practice derivations

 # Write the formulae from related chapters

# Revise laws, theories, basic concepts and name reactions, especially in organic chemistry

All of you have undergone much confusion in Std XI and XII with classes being keep online as well as offline at times, it should not bother you. It's just an exam. Few of them believe that chemistry is a volatile and difficult subject but it is not so. It’s a subject with substance,

nearly linked with day-to-day life. In this exam, the syllabus is decreased to 75 percentage and the deleted part is available on the board’s website.

When all of you talking about the subject study at the eleventh hour, we should concentrate on the given points that will help in solved out the question papers.

1)  At the First give an hour to every unit and study and solve the questions depends on it in exams of previous years.

2) Afterthat,  practice drawing the diagrams with proper labelling, preferably towards your right. Next, write important organic name  of reactions  and do not forget to write the names below reactants and products.

3) Then solving numericals, first write the data as it will tell you what value requires to be calculated. Write the formula perfectly and substitute the given values with suitable units. Units are very important in exams.  Even if the ladt answer is wrong, the perfect or Correct steps have a certain weightage. Additionally, state the configuration wherever very important.

4) Numericals in the question paper are asked for 12-14 marks. Solve total as they useful to score more. Writing practice for organic reactions is very useful in exams. Therefore, at home before exams do practice of the chemical reactions.

5)  Write your paper using a blue or black pen and use a pencil for diagrams, not coloured or sketch pens.

5) Lastly, allocate time to go through the data or information. Do not panic, you are going to get an extra half an hour. Be careful but do not be worried. Have a positive attitude that you know what you have studied. Success is yours.
